The Department of Emergency Medicine launched a research support program in June 2015 to provide infrastructure for enrolling emergency department (ED) patients in clinical studies. This program was an investment made by the Department of Emergency Medicine and the Carver College of Medicine.

Goals of program

• Conducting high quality clinical acute care research
• Facilitating future funding for ED -based research projects (grant - funded and industry -funded).
