Elissa Faro, PhD, is a medical anthropologist who started her career in quality improvement at the National Institute for Children’s Health Quality. As her experience in quality improvement has evolved, she has become increasingly interested in its intersection with growing field of implementation science and importance of qualitative methods in both fields.
