With grant funds from UI Volunteer Services, the Clinical Research Clinic underwent a renovation to improve the pediatric participant and their families experience in the clinic.

As part of the continued efforts to enhance the experience of pediatric research participants and their families during research visits in the Clinical Research Clinic, a variety a renovations were made, including:

For the pediatric waiting area:

• Custom graphic wall covering
• NunoErin interactive board installed
• New lounge furniture
• New artwork
• New carpet

For the pediatric infusion bay

• New infusion recliner and guest chair
• New media cabinet for gaming system
• New Nora flooring
• New cubical curtains
• New artwork
• Wall painting

For venipuncture procedures

• Vein view machine to assist with intravenous access
